Neuro Kinetics Appoints Hans Werner Vice President of Sales
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 8 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Neuro Kinetics, Inc. (NKI), manufacturers of medical diagnostic equipment used worldwide, today announced that medical device industry veteran Hans J. Werner has been appointed as vice president of sales."We're delighted to have Hans join us," said Howison Schroeder, NKI CEO and president. "Neuro Kinetics' new products and technologies have attracted tremendous interest from prospective clients and Hans has the experience and knowledge to represent us well around the world. He will be a key resource for our company as we continue expanding through new product rollouts and enhancements to our existing line."
Prior to joining NKI, Werner held a number of senior sales and marketing positions with leading medical equipment manufacturers.
Most recently he was chief of operations for Somnotech, an importer of durable medical equipment in the respiratory homecare field.
Werner also served as director, international sales, for Innomed Technologies, manufacturers of a sleep apnea interface used in respiratory homecare.
Prior to that position, Werner was president of two subsidiaries of Vital Signs Inc., a manufacturer of anesthesia and respiratory products. He ran both Breas AB (based in Sweden) and Vital Signs International, Inc. (based in New Jersey).
Two previous positions were as vice president, sales and marketing, for Precision Therapeutics, Inc., specialists in diagnostics services for cancer care, and vice president, international sales for NeuroCare Group, which later was acquired by Integra Life Sciences, Inc. of New Jersey.
Werner holds a Bachelor of Chemistry from the University of South Florida, a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from The Katz School, University of Pittsburgh. He lives in the Pittsburgh area.
NKI manufactures neuro-otologic diagnostic devices used clinically for balance and dizziness testing in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, and for advanced research by universities, government agencies and others. The company's products are used by neurologists, otolaryngologists, audiologists, ophthalmologists, vestibular researchers and others across North America, and in Australia, Asia and Europe.
