Vital Options(R) International Launches CancerTalk(SM)

First-Ever Multi-Media Internet Radio Show Dedicated to Cancer

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Vital Options International, a global non-profit organization and pioneer in using communications technology to teach, support and advocate about cancer, is launching the first audio-visual cancer show on the Internet. Called CancerTalk(SM), the program will debut with an introduction to cancer featuring Dr. Derek Raghavan, M.D., Ph.D., Chairman and Director of The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center on March 7, 2005, 5:00PM EST, 2:00PM PST. Already known for producing The Group RoomŪ, the nationally syndicated call-in cancer talk radio show that airs live on Sundays, and is also heard live on XM Satellite Radio and Internet simulcast, Vital Options is expanding its programming to include a weekday show that combines audio streaming supported by visual aids at Discussions will be led by noted medical opinion leaders from leading cancer centers and research institutions and will include programming on adult, young adult and pediatric oncology. On-air questions may be submitted by E-mail. High-speed Internet access is not required and all shows will be archived and available at any time.
