Jay Speelhoffer Promoted to Vice President, Sales, HEALTHPOINT Tissue ManagementFORT WORTH, Texas, April 19 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Michael E. Steadman, President of Tissue Management for Healthpoint®, Ltd., a DFB Pharmaceuticals Inc. affiliate company, has announced that Jay Speelhoffer has been appointed to Vice President, Sales for Healthpoint's Tissue Management Division. Mr. Speelhoffer, a Healthpoint executive since 2001, was most recently Director of Sales, Tissue Management, a position he has held for the past year.
Healthpoint, founded in 1992, is a specialty pharmaceutical company focusing on the research, development, and marketing of branded pharmaceuticals, over the counter drugs, and medical devices worldwide. As Vice President of Sales, he will continue to lead the company's field sales organization. His responsibilities include directing and executing the company's sales plan with an expanded sales team in several key markets within wound care.

Prior to joining Healthpoint in 2001, Mr. Speelhoffer held noteworthy leadership positions with medpool.com, a healthcare technology company based in Redwood City, California; ConvaTec, a Bristol-Myers Squibb company in Dallas, Texas; and Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc. in Arlington, Texas.
Mr. Speelhoffer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He also has completed a number of professional development courses from such institutions as Harvard Business School and University of Texas.
