Scient'x USA Strengthens Leadership Team With the Appointment of Tracy Brown as Vice President of SalesMAITLAND, Fla., May 4 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Scient'x USA announced today that Tracy Brown joined the company as Vice President of Sales on Monday April 24th. The appointment of Mr. Brown bolsters the company's executive management team, bringing additional orthopaedic expertise to the already well-pedigreed group.
Mr. Brown was most recently General Manager for the Clinical Business Unit of Microtek Medical. While at Microtek, Mr. Brown was responsible for Sales, Marketing and Product Development for the Clinical Business Unit. He also directed the efforts of manufacturing with Research and Development of new products and the expansion of current product lines. Prior to his time with this company, Mr. Brown spent four years as Director of Marketing (Global Programs), Director of Global Marketing (Cervical Segment) and U.S. Marketing Manager of Stryker-Spine Division, where he was instrumental in developing new cervical implants and refreshing existing product lines which resulted in an increase in sales. Mr. Brown also developed strategic growth plans and Multi- Generation product plans while working closely with Surgeon Consultants, Global Product Managers and Country Sales Managers which resulted in identifying new technology opportunities and filling product line gaps to position the company for additional overall annual growth. Mr. Brown has demonstrated his talents in a number of fields including manufacturing, sales and quality systems, establishing a number of key strategic alliances and expanding the business in important international markets.

Mr. Brown brings more than 25 years of experience in the management and marketing of medical device businesses including time with Thantex, TeknaMed and Kendall Healthcare Products. Mr. Brown graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with an accounting degree.
