MMS Awarded Novation Medical/Surgical Distribution Services Agreement
ST. LOUIS, June 1 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- MMS, one of the largest independent healthcare distributors, was recently awarded a five year national agreement to offer medical/surgical supplies to acute care members of Novation, one of the nation's largest health care Group Purchasing Organizations. This award also includes MMS' newly acquired Caligor Hospital Division."The contract strengthens MMS' position as a leading provider of medical/surgical products and furthers MMS' goal of partnering with all of the leading GPO's," said Tom Harris, MMS Executive Vice President.
The agreement, effective September 1, 2006, will give members additional choices in distribution partners. "The Novation contract is a great opportunity for MMS and Novation members," said Rich Hawkins, MMS Vice President of Acute Care. "This new contract opens up new avenues of business for MMS, while allowing MMS to provide competitive pricing and quality programs to Novation members."
