Triage Promotes Brad Culbert to Chief Technical Officer

IRVINE, Calif.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--June 14, 2006--Triage Medical Inc. today announced the promotion of Brad Culbert to the newly created position of Chief Technical Officer, Vice President Research, Development and Engineering. Culbert most recently served as Vice President Research and Development.

Culbert has successfully led the research and development team of Triage since joining the company as its first employee and lead engineer in 2000. Culbert has assembled and led a talented Research and Development team that has significantly contributed to the success of Triage. These achievements include development of trauma product lines based on CLASP® Technology; application of the CLASP Technology to both hip and SPINE FIXation products; development of the Teleport® Access System, which is the basis for all of the Triage percutaneous procedures; and development of the Triage Percutaneous Dynamic Stabilization System for use in the spine.

In addition, under the leadership of Culbert, the clinical and regulatory efforts of Triage have resulted in regulatory approvals for eight product lines.

The company currently has 12 issued U.S. patents and 22 patents pending. Culbert has been instrumental in building this solid intellectual property foundation.

Culbert received his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering from University of British Columbia and a Master's degree in Business Administration from California State University.
