Tim Ravenscroft Named President, Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging
NEW YORK, June 27 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE: BMY ) today announced the promotion of Tim Ravenscroft to president, Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging. As president, Mr. Ravenscroft will have responsibility for all aspects of the worldwide Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging business. He will report to Health Care Group President John Celentano. Mr. Ravenscroft will be based at Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging's global headquarters in N. Billerica, Massachusetts."Tim brings dynamic leadership and a wealth of experience in product development and commercial management to this strategically-important position within our company," said Celentano. "His passion for enhancing patient care coupled with his strong science and business acumen will serve our customers, their patients and our company very well."
Mr. Ravenscroft has more than 28 years' experience in the health care industry spanning senior product development and commercial management roles in North America, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as vice president of Bristol-Myers Squibb's Global Virology Franchise. Mr. Ravenscroft joined Bristol-Myers Squibb from DuPont Pharmaceuticals in 2001.
Mr. Ravenscroft holds a master's degree from City University and a bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from East London University, both of which are located in London, U.K.
