SkinMedica Appoints Theodore Ebel Vice President of Corporate Development
SAN DIEGO--(HSMN NewsFeed)--July 5, 2006--SkinMedica, Inc. announced today that Theodore Ebel has joined the Company as Vice President, Corporate Development. In this position Mr. Ebel will be responsible for strategic planning and business development activities for the Company. He will be actively seeking the acquisition of marketed and development-stage dermatology products. He will also lead the partnering activities to acquire or license patented topical drug delivery technologies to support SkinMedica's ongoing initiatives to develop and market innovative products for the treatment of dermatological conditions."Ted is a very strong addition to SkinMedica's senior management team," said Rex Bright, President & Chief Executive Officer. "Under Ted's leadership, Corporate Development will continue our active acquisition and licensing activities. These activities will augment our in-house product development efforts."
Mr. Ebel's experience includes management roles with Arthur D. Little Company, Amgen, MP.3 and CancerVax, Inc. He is a graduate of Duke University, and received his MBA Degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
