Environmental Tectonics Corporation Announces That Their New ETC BioMedical System Boosts Wound Care
SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Aug. 30 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Environmental Tectonics Corporation (Amex: ETC ; "ETC" or the "Company") today announced that the WOUND HEALING CENTER at suburban Philadelphia's Bryn Mawr Hospital is now operating ETC BioMedical's new BARA-MED® XD hyperbaric chamber to support the critical healing of chronic wounds. This latest model features greater internal patient space and uses BARA-PRESS(TM), the ETC advanced design computer control system with a touch screen interface. The system was developed, from the outset, by ETC to optimize patient comfort, safety and operational efficiency. According to Sharon Hannum, program director of the Hospital's Wound Healing Center, "ETC's Windows®-based computerized program and technical innovations like automatic printing and computer storage of treatment records helps me run a more efficient HBO unit."This recent delivery continues the strong working relationship between ETC BioMedical Systems Group and Bryn Mawr Hospital which began when the Wound Healing Center opened two years ago. The Hospital is located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. With 307 beds, it is part of the Main Line Health network.
ETC designs, develops, installs and maintains aircrew training systems, public entertainment systems, process simulation systems (sterilization and environmental), clinical hyperbaric systems, environmental testing and simulation systems, and related products for domestic and international customers.
