St. Francis Medical Technologies Announces Appointment of Vice President of MarketingSAN FRANCISCO--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Sept. 6, 2006--St. Francis Medical Technologies, Inc.® is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Frushell as vice president of marketing. Mr. Frushell brings to the company more than 20 years of medical device branding and commercialization expertise, primarily in the orthopedics arena.
Most recently, Mr. Frushell was the vice president of marketing for the privately held company, Blackstone Medical, Inc. There, Mr. Frushell led the building of Blackstone's branding and product pipeline to becoming a full-line spine fusion supplier.
Previously, Mr. Frushell spent 15 years with the orthopedic divisions of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in various capacities including engineering and senior level positions in marketing and business development. While at the Zimmer and Linvatec divisions, Mr. Frushell led their global commercialization and acquisition efforts for the sports medicine, endoscopy and powered surgical markets.
