Medicsight PLC Appoints Etienne Vanderstokker Chief Executive OfficerLONDON, Sept. 15 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Medicsight PLC, a subsidiary company of Medicsight, Inc. (Amex: MGT ), a leading developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) technologies and software, announced today the Company has appointed Etienne Vanderstokker as Chief Executive Officer and that the Company has promoted Dr. Ravi Bickram K. Shrestha to Vice President of Commercial and Operations worldwide.
Mr. Vanderstokker and Dr. Shrestha have over 40 years of combined experience in medical imaging and clinical software applications. Mr. Vanderstokker was most recently Head of HealthCare Imaging Technologies for Agfa's HealthCare Business Group. Prior to joining Medicsight, Dr. Shrestha was co-founder, inventor and an Executive of ComMedica Limited, a United Kingdom-based medical software company specializing in standards-based Picture Archiving & Communication System ("PACS") and diagnostic imaging software.
