Dartmouth-Hitchcock, BioLucent Sign Agreement to Provide MammoPad(R) Breast Cushion
ALISO VIEJO, Calif.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--BioLucent, Inc., maker of the MammoPad® breast cushion, today announced a new agreement to provide MammoPad to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. MammoPad is a radiolucent, FDA-cleared foam cushion that covers the cold, hard surfaces of all commercially available mammography equipment. Clinical studies show the cushion can reduce mammography-related discomfort by half for three out of four women. The cushion has already benefited more than 10 million women.
