Maureen Mende Joins Diamics as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance

NOVATO, Calif.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Diamics, Inc., a San Francisco Bay-area, medical device and diagnostics company, announced today it has appointed Maureen Mende as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.

Most recently Mende served as Regulatory Affairs Group Manager for Dade Behring, where she oversaw regulatory planning and submissions, provided global regulatory guidance, developed regulatory strategies and interfaced with regulatory agencies. She was also a member of the MicroScan Product Approval and Strategy Team, overseeing new product development projects, as well as serving on the Global Regulatory Team responsible for developing global regulatory strategies, creating and implementing regulatory and quality policy, and monitoring emerging regulations.

Prior to joining Dade Behring, Mende served as a pharmaceutical industry consultant assisting with GMP compliance and process/equipment validation support, as well as performing chemical, microbiological and environmental testing for Abbott Laboratories.

Mende holds a B.S. degree from Aurora University, Aurora Illinois, and an MBA from Golden Gate University, Sacramento. She has been RAC certified since 1999 and is an ISO trained Lead Auditor.
