K2M Completes 500th Surgery with MESA(TM) Spinal System

Surgeries Show Early Sign of Success for New Stabilization Product

The system, which was presented to the public at the 2006 North American Spine Society (NASS) conference in Seattle, WA in September, is a revolutionary advance in stabilization technology used in the treatment of spinal disorders.

MESA was first utilized in degenerative lumbar surgeries, but quickly evolved for use in more complex deformity surgeries to address the market need for advanced spinal technology. More than 100 surgeons have used the system to perform the 500 surgeries across the nation.
