Cook Medical Names Two New Directors
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Rob Dorocke, a 10-year veteran, Dave Volz, a 16-year veteran of Cook Medical, have both been named to directorship positions.Dorocke now holds the title of director of eCommunications for Cook Inc. He was previously webmaster and eCommunications coordinator.
Volz is now director of operations. Prior to this promotion, he held several positions within Cook, including operations manager, production manager, manager of incoming quality control and supervisor of purchasing/raw materials warehouse.
"It has been a pleasure to see Cook embrace internet technologies to help communicate with our customers and to help us work more efficiently internally," Dorocke said. "I look forward to helping Cook continue to usher in ever more progressive technologies to keep us on the forefront of medical innovation. I am very honored and humbled by this recognition."
Dorocke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications from Indiana University - Bloomington. He lives in Bloomington, Ind. with his wife and son and, in his free time, enjoys traveling, following the drum and bugle corps activity, and listening to and performing music.
Volz holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University. In addition to spending time with his wife, Marci, and three sons, Drake, Drew and Deakin, Volz enjoys golf, fishing and hunting. He also volunteers as an assistant coach for Indiana University's Track and Field team.
