Stryker Announces New Corporate Officer Appointment
KALAMAZOO, Mich., Feb. 15 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK ) announced that Katherine A. Owen will join the Company in the newly created position of Vice President, Strategy and Investor Relations.Prior to joining Stryker, Ms. Owen enjoyed a successful career at Merrill Lynch, serving for eight years as their medical technologies Equity Analyst. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Owen was an analyst in Cowen & Company's medical technologies group for three years. She has also held meaningful roles at both State Street Bank and Chubb Insurance. Ms. Owen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Boston College.
