iCAD Welcomes Laurence Veron as Director of European Sales and Marketing
NASHUA, N.H., Feb. 27 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- iCAD, Inc. (Nasdaq: iCAD ), an industry-leading provider of Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) solutions for the early identification of cancer, today announced that Laurence Veron has joined iCAD as Director of European Sales and Marketing. Ms. Veron brings more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the health imaging industry to this key management position."We are pleased to have Laurence Veron join iCAD as the company's new Director of European Sales and Marketing," said Ken Ferry, Chief Executive Officer of iCAD. Most recently, Ms. Veron served as European Sales Manager at R2 Technology, Inc. Ms. Veron served as the primary contact for OEM vendors for R2 in Europe and provided support to European dealers with training programs and customer management. Ms. Veron developed key luminary partnerships and was very instrumental in generating leads and closing direct sales opportunities with radiology facilities, clinics and hospitals.
Previous to R2 Technology Inc., Ms. Veron was the Product and Sales Manager at Ondes et Rayons Roche Gars, a distributor specialized in medical imagery. There, Ms. Veron developed the R2 technology analog product line in France and provided training and support to the sales team with Kodak products. Before joining Ondes et Rayon Roche Gars, Ms. Veron served as National PACS Consultant at Kodak Health Imaging France where she provided sales and technical support to the French sales team. Furthermore, she was responsible for finding new partners and product opportunities and managing complex sales.
