King Pharmaceuticals Announces FDA Approval of ALTACE(R) Tablet Formulation

BRISTOL, Tenn.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--King Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: KG ) announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the New Drug Application for an ALTACEŽ (ramipril) tablet formulation. King expects to be in a position to launch the new formulation sometime during the fourth quarter of 2007 or the first quarter of 2008.
