Vidacare Announces Director of Sales Operations, Bart P. Jones

Jones as director of sales operations.Mr. Jones, who has a proven track record in sales and marketing, will report to Jim Thomsen, Vidacare's executive vice president of sales. His duties will include managing Vidacare's client development team, in addition to overseeing the company's customer relationship management system, sales education, and sales support. Mr. Jones' background encompasses over 25 years in management, sales operations and strategy and includes considerable experience in the adoption of technology and medical issues.

Prior to joining Vidacare, Mr. Jones served as regional business director at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical specializing in anti-infective therapies for the acute care environment. During his tenure at Cubist, Mr. Jones was instrumental in nationally launching a first in class anti-infective to Infectious Disease physicians and Orthopedic and Cardiothoracic surgeons.
Mr. Jones previously served as vice president of sales and marketing at Guilford Pharmaceutical, where he created the company's initial sales and marketing organization. Prior to joining Guildford, he served as region business director for Medimmune, Inc., where he was responsible for leading his teams to "Region of the Year" in sales achievements. Mr. Jones has also led sales and marketing initiatives in management positions with Immunex, Inc., Genentech, Inc., Squibb-Novo, Inc., and BHJ Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Jones earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas Tech University.
