Marcus Girolamo Appointed Director of Marketing, HEALTHPOINT

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 12 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Robert E. Bancroft, General Manager of HEALTHPOINT, Ltd., has announced the promotion of Marcus Girolamo to Director of Marketing for HEALTHPOINT, a part of DFB Branded Pharmaceuticals.

"Marcus' experience in selling, marketing, and launching a variety of new and established brands and products affords him unique insight into the diverse aspects of brand marketing," said Mr. Bancroft.

Since arriving at HEALTHPOINT less than a year ago, Mr. Girolamo has been promoted rapidly and has already held two positions, most recently Associate Director of Brand Marketing. Prior to that role, he was Segment Director for the Acute Care division of Tissue Management.

"His remarkable contributions to HEALTHPOINT in such a short amount of time portend a promising future for both him and our company," continued Mr. Bancroft. "We are fortunate to have him on our team."

Before joining HEALTHPOINT in August 2006, Mr. Girolamo worked at Johnson & Johnson for seven years. There, he influenced the strategic direction of the company, helping create the Therakos division marketing department and its infrastructure, resulting in a significant increase in revenue. Mr. Girolamo successfully led European/U.S. drug-device product launches and spearheaded strategic and business planning processes. In 2004, he led and implemented a worldwide company re-branding initiative.

Marcus Girolamo graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Marketing, and received his M.B.A. from the University of Houston.
