21st Century Oncology to Acquire Six TomoTherapy(R) Hi-Art(R) Treatment Systems

MADISON, Wis.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--TomoTherapy (NASDAQ: TTPY ) today announced that 21st Century Oncology, which operates the largest network of free-standing radiation oncology centers in the world, has placed an order for six TomoTherapy® Hi-Art® treatment systems. The units are scheduled for future installation in Florida and California, and possibly other locations.

The agreement with 21st Century reflects the healthcare industry's growing desire for the Hi-Art System's advanced image-guided, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IG/IMRT) capabilities. TomoTherapy currently has more than 125 units installed in treatment centers worldwide.
