KCI Announces the Appointment of Chief Information Officer
SAN ANTONIO--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI ), a global medical technology company with leadership positions in advanced wound care and therapeutic surfaces, today announced the appointment of David H. Ramsey to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to joining KCI, Mr. Ramsey was the CIO for PSS World Medical Inc. In this new position, he will be a member of KCI's Executive Committee and will report directly to the CEO."David brings deep experience in Information Technology and has demonstrated an ability to align I.T. capabilities with company growth objectives" said Catherine M. Burzik, President and Chief Executive Officer of KCI. "As CIO, he will partner with KCI's Executive Committee to develop and leverage our technology platform as we continue to broaden our reach in the areas of advanced wound care and therapeutic surfaces."
Mr. Ramsey earned his Bachelor of Science at Montana State University and has completed Executive Education programs in Strategic Technology, Stanford University; I.T. Governance, M.I.T.; Leadership Development, Notre Dame; and Finance for the I.T. Executive, M.I.T.
