U-Systems, Inc. Appoints Bob Thompson as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(HSMN NewsFeed)--U-Systems, Inc., the industry leader in automated ultrasound systems devoted to women's health and breast imaging, announced today that Bob Thompson will join the Company on October 1 as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Bob started his career at ATL Ultrasound in 1989 in Clinical Applications. Moving to GE Healthcare in 1996 he was promoted to Global Marketing Manager-Ultrasound in 2001 following five years as Americas Clinical Applications Manager Ultrasound.

In 2004 he joined Ultrasonix, a Canadian based, privately financed, emerging ultrasound manufacturer as VP, Global Marketing and Product Development. Under Bob's marketing and product development leadership Ultrasonix has established itself as a significant presence in medical ultrasound.
