Bioject Announces Roche and Trimeris Update on the Use of Fuzeon(R) with Biojector(R) 2000

(Nasdaq:BJCT ), a leading developer of needle-free drug delivery systems today announced that it has been notified by Roche and Trimeris that they will not be proceeding with their FDA submission for FUZEON® to be administered with the Biojector® 2000 ("B2000")."We are pleased that patients who are currently delivering FUZEON with the B2000 through existing programs and clinical trials may continue to do so," said Dr. Richard Stout, Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. "We realize the need for alternatives to the needle and syringe to reduce injection site reaction as suggested in the clinical trials and we look forward to learning more from the on-going clinical trials."
