OmniSonics Appoints Sean McNerney as Vice President, Sales
WILMINGTON, Mass., Oct. 23 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- OmniSonics Medical Technologies, Inc., a developer of advanced medical devices for use in the treatment of vascular disease, today announced the appointment of Sean M. McNerney to the position of Vice President, Sales.Mr. McNerney comes to OmniSonics with over 15 years of experience building high-performance sales teams in the medical device market. His most recent position was with Datascope Corporation, where, as Vice President of Sales for the Interventional Products Division, he led a sales force focused on vascular closure products for interventional cardiology and radiology. He also served as the Vice President of Sales for Datascope's InterVascular Division, where he managed a direct sales force as well as distributors in North and South America to promote implantable grafts for vascular and cardiovascular surgery. Mr. McNerney previously held sales and marketing positions at U.S. Surgical, a division of Tyco Healthcare, including Marketing Director for the Suture Division and Regional Sales Director for the New England region. His experience includes launching, promoting, and selling capital and disposable equipment for a broad range of surgical specialties including gynecology, urology, thoracic, vascular, cardiovascular, plastic and general surgery.
