Softscope Medical Technologies, Inc. Announces the Appointment of John E. Schellhorn as Chief Executive Officer
MINNETONKA, Minn., Jan. 24 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Softscope Medical Technologies, Inc., an early stage medical device company developing an innovative technology to significantly improve endoscopic procedures, announced today the appointment of John E. Schellhorn as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Schellhorn has more than 23 years of experience in the medical device field, most recently with ev3 Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of minimally invasive devices to treat vascular disease and disorders.Kathy Tune, a Softscope director with Thomas, McNerney & Partners stated, "John brings a proven track record of sales and marketing expertise in the medical device field. His leadership abilities and industry knowledge will be a tremendous asset to the Company as it continues development of its first product to improve endoscopic procedures."
