Mentice, Inc. Announces Appointment of Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Americas

EVANSTON, Ill., March 26 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Mentice, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Mentice AB, Gothenberg, Sweden), a leading supplier of virtual reality based training applications within the field of medicine has recently appointed Tim Shannon as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Americas.

Mr. Shannon brings to Mentice over 20 years of sales, sales management and marketing experience within the areas of Healthcare and Life Science. He has worldwide experience in a variety of high-level roles within the areas of interventional cardiology/radiology implantable devices, surgical devices and diagnostic cardiology imaging equipment and networking.

Prior to joining Mentice, Mr. Shannon held leadership positions at GE Healthcare, Datascope Corp. and VisualSonics Inc. His sales background includes Bristol-Myers, GE Healthcare, U.S. Surgical Corp., Boston Scientific Corp. and Datascope Corp.

Mr. Shannon will be tasked with growing the market for medical simulation throughout the Americas and establishing an operational infrastructure to support its growth.
