Thermage, Inc. Appoints New Vice President of Research & DevelopmentHAYWARD, Calif., June 30 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Thermage, Inc. (Nasdaq: THRM ), a leader in non-invasive tissue tightening in the aesthetic industry, today announced the appointment of Dragan D. Nebrigic, Ph.D. as Vice President, Research & Development. Dr. Nebrigic was previously the Senior Director of Advanced Technologies, a position he assumed when he joined Thermage in August 2007. As Vice President of R&D, Dr. Nebrigic will lead all R&D initiatives and build upon the Company's product pipeline. He will report directly to Clint Carnell, Chief Operating Officer at Thermage.

Dr. Nebrigic joined Thermage in August 2007 from Maxwell Technologies, a San Diego-based technology company, where he was Senior Director of Global Advanced Technologies and Intellectual Property. In that role, he created a new energy product module line. Prior to joining Maxwell Technologies in 2005, Dr. Nebrigic served as Executive Director of Engineering and Advanced Technologies with American Technology Corporation, a company specializing in the design, development and commercialization of sound technologies and acoustic products. Prior to joining American Technology Corporation in 2001, he was Manager of Microelectronics and Engineering at Molecular Reflections, Inc.
Dr. Nebrigic previously spent four years at Procter & Gamble from 1996 to 2000, where he spearheaded efforts related to the novel portable energy sources, consumer biosensor applications, skin parameter detection and measurement devices. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Technical Physics from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Dr. Nebrigic also holds an adjunct Professor position in Electrical Engineering with the University of Cincinnati.
