Ikaria(R) Strengthens Commercial Operations and Human Resources Leadership

Appoints Stephen Ross Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and James Briggs Senior Vice President of Human Resources

CLINTON, N.J., Aug. 25 (HSMN NewsFeed) -- Ikaria Holdings, Inc., a fully integrated critical care biotherapeutics company, announced today the addition of two key executives. Stephen A. Ross was appointed Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and James Briggs was named Senior Vice President for Human Relations.

Mr. Ross previously served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Cytogen, a specialty pharmaceutical company. At Cytogen, he was responsible for sales and marketing of Cytogen's four-product oncology portfolio. Prior to Cytogen, he spent fifteen years at GlaxoSmithKline where he held several positions, including Vice President, Specialist Business Units, GSK UK and General Manager of GSK Ireland. During his tenure at GSK, he managed sales and marketing for hospital and specialty products. Mr. Ross holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Briggs was previously Director, Human Resources of Avaya Global Services, a global IP Telephony Products and Services Company, where he led a human resources team that served more than 5,000 employees globally. Prior to joining Avaya, he served as Vice President, Human Resources at GE's Access Distribution, a global IT distributor with more than 600 employees. Before GE, he held human resources positions at Unilever and The Pepsi Bottling Company. Mr. Briggs holds an MA in industrial relations and a BA in communications, both from the University of Illinois.
