US Endoscopy Names Christopher D. Fedele VP of New Product DevelopmentMentor, Ohio - September 9, 2008 --(HSMN NewsFeed)-- US endoscopy is proud to announce the appointment of Christopher D. Fedele to the position of Vice President of New Product Development. With his wealth of knowledge and talent in medical device product development, Mr. Fedele complements US endoscopy, a fast-paced, growing medical device company.
In his most recent endeavor, Mr. Fedele held leadership roles within the medical business unit of Avery Dennison Corporation (Avery), with a focus on product development, business development, and strategic account management. In addition to his experience at Avery, Mr. Fedele developed medical device expertise in new product development and engineering leadership while holding management roles at Baxter Healthcare Corporation.
"US endoscopy's strength lies in our people and our product strategy; a very dynamic formula," said Gulam Khan, CEO and Co-Chairman of US endoscopy. "We are fortunate to have Chris join the company. His contribution will be vital to attaining our aggressive goals."
In his role as VP of New Product Development, Mr. Fedele's experience will be instrumental in the development of US endoscopy's niche, problem-solving devices. "I am excited to join the US endoscopy team and build upon the company's unique strategy of constant new product development. I look forward to fine tuning an already strong product development process and producing a steady stream of products that fill the unmet needs of the GI endoscopy market," stated Mr. Fedele.
The effort to attract Mr. Fedele was spearheaded by Griffon Partners, an executive search firm based in Akron, Ohio.
