Amerinet Appoints New Contracting and Sales Leadership

ST. LOUIS--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Amerinet today announces appointments in both its sales and contracting divisions. Joining the sales division are Allie Karshenas, Ph.D., serving as the eastern area vice president of sales, and Robynn Sweet, as director of business development. New to the contracting division is Steven Jenks, as vice president of custom contracting, while Dale Wright has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of contracting services and president of Amerinet Choice.

Karshenas joins Amerinet with an extensive background in healthcare management, sales and operations. His previous positions include vice president of operations, Thermo Fisher Scientific; vice president of services, Siemens/Draeger; and general manager, Kendle International. Karshenas has a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University, as well as a master’s and doctorate in medical technology laboratory sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi.

As director of business development, Sweet will be responsible for Amerinet’s Gulf Coast region. Prior to joining Amerinet, she worked for Becton Dickinson and held numerous sales and leadership positions, including strategic account manager, infusion/injection sales consultant, account executive and infusion consultant. Her work resulted in increased sales of more than $10 million in four years. She also was a cardiology clinical education specialist for C.R. Bard.

She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center and has earned numerous leadership and sales awards for her efforts in business development and clinical education.

As vice president of custom contracting, Jenks brings a wide range of industry experience to Amerinet, including work in GPO management, executive sales and management, and supply cost management.

He has been a top sales performer in healthcare private label products and has been a leader in integrated delivery network (IDN) strategy development and implementation. His professional background includes leadership positions at Novation, Cottrell Ltd., U.S. Surgical and Deknatel. Jenks has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Weber State University.

Wright brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to his new role as senior vice president of contracting and president of Amerinet Choice. He has been promoted from vice president for Amerinet Choice, Amerinet’s own private label product line providing products manufactured by market-leading suppliers at up to 20 percent savings.

Wright has worked in the healthcare industry since 1970 and joined Amerinet in 2001 to oversee Amerinet’s private label company. He is responsible for the consistent sales growth of the program under his management. Prior to joining Amerinet, he owned Ni-Med Inc., a medical device manufacturer.
