Concentric Medical Launches Distal Access CatheterMOUNTAIN VIEW, California, October 20 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Concentric Medical, Inc., the global leader in devices for clot removal in ischemic stroke patients, today announced the launch of the MerciŽ Distal Access Catheter, or DAC. The DAC provides neurointerventionalists easier distal access and enhanced support during minimally invasive procedures in the brain. It is also a valuable tool when using the Merci Retrieval System(TM) to remove thrombus in patients suffering an ischemic stroke.
The Merci Distal Access Catheter was evaluated at more than a dozen leading medical institutions in the United States and Europe.
