Ethicon Completes Acquisition of Acclarent
Opportunity to Create New Growth Platform in Surgical ENT MarketSOMERVILLE, N.J., Jan. 20 -- (Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network) -- Ethicon, Inc., announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Acclarent, Inc., following clearance under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act. Acclarent is a privately held medical technology company dedicated to designing, developing and commercializing devices that address conditions affecting the ear, nose and throat (ENT). Ethicon announced its agreement to acquire Acclarent on December 16, 2009.
