DFine Appoints Jim Mazzarella to the Position of Vice President of Sales

(Jim) Mazzarella to the position of Vice President of Sales. Jim brings to DFine over 25 years of high level sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry. He began his career at Johnson & Johnson, where he assumed increasingly greater levels of responsibility in sales management and marketing during his 20 years with the company, eventually directing the launch of the now market-leading STERRAD® low temperature sterilization system at Advanced Sterilization Products, a division of Ethicon. Jim also held senior leadership roles at Medpool.com and TSO3, Inc.“Jim is a consummate sales management professional, and his successful track record in building high performing sales organizations will help DFine accelerate the expansion of our commercialization efforts here in the US,” said Kevin Mosher, Chief Executive Officer of DFine, Inc. “Particularly noteworthy is Jim’s depth of experience in introducing new medical devices over the course of his career, which makes him an ideal candidate for our organization. Prior to DFine, Jim worked for several start-up companies in market development and sales leadership roles. His areas of expertise, particularly as it pertains to start up companies include building sales organizations, new product launches, pricing strategy, corporate account contracting, and key account management. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Moravian College and has attended professional development programs at the Wharton Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
