Sun Pharma Announces USFDA Approval for Generic Flomax(R)
MUMBAI, India--(HSMN NewsFeed)--Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Reuters: SUN.BO, Bloomberg: SUNP IN, NSE:SUNPHARMA, BSE:524715) announced that USFDA has granted approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) to market a generic version of Flomax ®, tamsulosin capsules.These tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules, 0.4 mg are therapeutically equivalent to Flomax® Capsules 0.4 mg from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
