Riverain Medical Appoints Rich Bares Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

DAYTON, Ohio--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Riverain Medical, an industry leader and innovator in computer-aided detection (CAD) and advanced visualization technologies, today announced it has appointed Rich Bares as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In this role, Mr. Bares will be responsible for the global go-to-market and support strategies for the company.

Mr. Bares has more than 25 years experience in the medical imaging and medical software industry. Most recently he was Executive Vice President of Acuitec, LLC, an early-stage company focused on commercializing peroperative software. In this position he was responsible for establishing and building the sales process, cultivating strategic partnerships, and working with members of Acuitec’s team to create offerings that address technological needs within the market. He previously held management positions at Agfa Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Toshiba Medical Systems, and ISG Technologies. Mr. Bares holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Laras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colo.
