Caldera Medical Appoints Joseph P. Kelly as Vice President of Sales

Vice President of Sales Chosen to Drive Accelerated Expansion of Sales Force

AGOURA HILLS, Calif.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Caldera Medical, Inc. announced today the appointment of Joseph P. Kelly as Vice President of Sales. In this role, Joe will report to Bryon L. Merade, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Kelly joins Caldera Medical after 12 years at Diagnostic Products Corporation (DPC) where he built a sales force from 25 to over 200 sales representatives and in turn grew DPC’s domestic sales revenues from $20 million to $160 million under his leadership. Mr. Kelly reported to esteemed Caldera Board of Director member Michael Ziering in this role at DPC and until DPC’s acquisition by Siemens Medical for over $2 billion. Mr. Kelly began his career at Becton, Dickinson and Co. where he spent 12 years in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently Mr. Kelly held the role of Sales Officer at Laboratory Corporation of America, where he implemented the successful turn-around of this $400 million dollar division. Mr. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College.

Mr. Kelly will be influential in leading the accelerated expansion of Caldera’s sales force. Caldera Medical has grown its sales force to 35 direct sales representatives and plans to continue this expansion through 2011 with the goal of developing a sales force of 115 sales representatives throughout the United States.
