Cook Medical Receives Two Contract Awards with HealthTrust Purchasing Group for Enteral Feeding and GI Endoscopic Supplies
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Cook Medical, Inc. has entered into two contracts with HealthTrust Purchasing Group, LP (HealthTrust), a group purchasing organization supporting not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities as well as ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate care sites. Under the three-year agreements, effective October 1, 2010, Cook Medical will supply HealthTrust members with its full line of endoscopic devices intended to treat a wide range of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases, and enteral feeding products.These contracts mark the first agreement between the two organizations for these types of products. The contracts provide HealthTrust members with a line of high quality endoscopic devices and enteral feeding products that treat a range of GI conditions that cause debilitating symptoms. Members will have access to improved pricing accuracy, increased shipping efficiency, simplified ordering and reimbursement support.
