New Web-Based, State-of-the-Art System Changes Paradigm of Case Planning

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. & NEW YORK--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- (VEITHsymposium)—W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) today announced the introduction of the GORE® 3D Imaging System, a new internet cloud-based 3D advanced visualization and decision support system that will change the paradigm of pre-case planning. The revolutionary new system, which is on exhibit at the VEITHsymposium (37th Annual Symposium on Vascular and Endovascular Issues), reflects Gore’s ongoing commitment to supporting physicians in making informed treatment decisions.

The GORE 3D Imaging System is powered by the award-winning TeraRecon iNtuition Cloud Technology, and enables physicians to simply drag and drop image files to a secure server for rapid review by a Gore clinical expert. The revolutionary 3D modeling system and case planning aid delivers unmatched ease of use, reliability and responsiveness to physicians. The combination of rapid file upload and immediate cloud-based access to the full iNtuition system by Gore clinical associates will decrease turn-around times and reduce case planning delays.

“Gore has an unwavering commitment to helping physicians make improved treatment decisions through collaboration and innovation. With the GORE 3D Imaging System, we hope to help physicians to better manage their cases through technology,” said David Abeyta, Aortic Business Unit Leader at Gore. “We truly believe that the GORE 3D Imaging System will change the paradigm of pre-case planning by improving imaging capability and facilitating more effective device sizing.”
