Toshiba Announces New M-Power User Interface
M-Power User Interface Improves Operational Efficiency and Features Advanced Post Processing Software for More Accurate DiagnosisTUSTIN, Calif.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- To streamline the imaging process for MR technologists and enable overall exam efficiencies, as well as enhanced diagnoses, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will introduce the advanced M-Power user interface. M-Power is a new user interface that improves technologist efficiency by reducing the number of steps technologists go through during exam set up and features advanced post-processing software. It is currently a works-in-progress and eventually will be available for use on all of Toshiba’s MR systems with an upgrade path for those systems already installed.
- Ease of Use - M-Power reduces the number of steps to starting a procedure improving department efficiency. Key parameters have been strategically organized to minimize user searching and mouse movement further increasing technologist efficiency. The look and feel of the user interface is designed to enhance the user’s experience and workflow. New post processing applications are as easy as 1, 2, 3…
- Atlas Compass – The Atlas Compass software automates coil selection and turns on the proper coil elements needed for a specific exam. Beneficial for abdominal, spine and lumbar imaging, this feature eliminates guess work in patient positioning and coil element selection.
- 3D Volume Imaging Applications – mVOX, a volume imaging acquisition sequence, which will be available for neuro and orthopedic volume imaging applications, allows acquisition of all 3D imaging planes to be acquired at one time, streamlining the imaging process and reducing exam times.
