Amerinet Hires Brian Straeb as Executive Vice President of Sales

ST. LOUIS--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization, today announced the hiring of Brian Straeb as executive vice president of sales.

In his new position, Straeb will provide the strategic direction and oversee the day-to-day operation of Amerinet’s national customer facing organization including sales, in both the acute and non-acute sectors, sales support, clinical field specialists and customer service. He will work in collaboration with the enterprise solutions, contracting and marketing divisions to meet established sales and profit goals.

“Brian brings to Amerinet two decades of broad spectrum sales, marketing and leadership success in the healthcare industry,” said Todd Ebert, Amerinet president and CEO. “His track record of achievement and continuous growth in the development, implementation and execution of sales campaigns make him the perfect fit for our organization.”

Straeb’s areas of expertise include strategic sales, planning and marketing as well as talent development and building high-performance teams.

During his career, Straeb has held sales leadership positions with Covidien in the surgical device, imaging solutions, respiratory, monitoring and strategic sales divisions, as well as serving as vice president of marketing. Straeb has also held sales leadership positions with Ther-Rx, Ion Beam Applications and Tyco Healthcare.

Straeb is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and has completed Strategic Marketing Management training as part of the Executive Education program at the University of Chicago.
