Cook Incorporated Names Rob Dorocke Vice President, Global e-Communications
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Rob Dorocke, who has served as the company's global e-communications director since 2006, has been promoted to vice president of global e-communications, Cook Inc. officials said today. In his new role, Dorocke will lead Cook’s online and digital efforts, including social media tools, to help educate physicians and patients worldwide about the benefits of Cook Medical technologies.“Rob has been a valued member of the Cook organization since he joined us,” said Kem Hawkins, president of Cook Group, Inc. “Under his guidance and leadership, our online presence has grown from a simple website to an integrated digital platform that helps Cook better serve customers worldwide.”
Dorocke joined the Cook organization in 1997 as an interactive designer and created the company’s first website for Star of Indiana, the only corporate-sponsored drum and bugle corps in the country. He also designed the first Cook Group website. In 2001, he became Cook’s electronic communications coordinator, and since then was promoted to global director of e-communications.
“I am extremely honored by this promotion and excited to continue working with a passionate team here at Cook,” said Dorocke. “I am looking forward to deploying new web and mobile tools that will enable deeper collaboration among our global employee base and strengthen relationships with our customers.”
Dorocke is originally from Greenwood, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University in 1997, with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and public and environmental affairs. Rob has spent his entire working career with Cook.
