Yaupon Therapeutics, Inc. Secures $14.4 Million in Series D FinancingMALVERN, Pa.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Yaupon Therapeutics, Inc., a privately held specialty pharmaceutical company, announced today that it has raised $14.4 million through a Series D private placement of preferred stock. The new round includes prior investors Vivo Ventures, Palo Alto Investors and Burrill & Company, plus new investor, Aperture Venture Partners.
Yaupon recently submitted a New Drug Application (NDA) to the FDA for a proprietary gel formulation of mechlorethamine hydrochloride for the treatment of early stage (stages I-IIA) mycosis fungoides, the most common type of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL).
