Gilbert Wai Appointed Executive Vice President, Region Asia Pacific, and Member of Elekta’s Executive Committee
STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- Gilbert Wai has been appointed Executive Vice President of Elekta’s Asia Pacific region and member of the Executive Committee.Effective November 1, 2011, Gilbert Wai will assume the position as Executive Vice President of Region Asia Pacific. He replaces Ian Alexander, who has decided to pursue external career opportunities.
Gilbert Wai has been with Elekta for 13 years. Prior to his appointment as Executive Vice President, he has held several senior management positions in the company. Since year 2006 he has been Managing Director of Elekta’s operations in China. In this role, Gilbert Wai has been instrumental in driving Elekta’s successful growth in China to its current position as Elekta’s third largest individual market.
