RaySearch Laboratories: New York Hospital Selects RayStation(R) for Advanced Research

STOCKHOLM--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)-- RaySearch Laboratories AB (STO:RAYB.st ) has received an order for its RayStation® treatment planning system from The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell in New York. RayStation® will serve as an advanced research platform at the University Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology where the staff will use the system to model advanced workflows in multi-criteria optimization IMRT, 4D image registration and dose accumulation as well as other cutting edge technologies.

“We have many projects here at the University Hospital that can benefit from using a platform like RayStation®, and we look forward to working with the developers in Stockholm to assess the use of these technologies and how they can help us reach our advanced research goals”, says Hansen Chen, Director of Technology Development and Systems Integration at the Department of Radiation Oncology.
