Getinge Group: New Executive Vice President of the Medical Systems business areaGetinge, Sweden--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Heinz Jacqui has been appointed the new Executive Vice President of the Medical Systems business area and will assume the position on 1 April 2012. In addition to his responsibilities for the Medical Systems business area, Heinz Jacqui will be a member of Getinge’s Group management. Heribert Ballhaus, who has successfully headed Medical Systems since 2001, will retire on the same date as scheduled.
Heinz Jacqui has a B. Sc. in Engineering and has worked in the medical-technical sector since the late 1980s, and as President of Olympus Medicals’ surgical endoscope business for the past eight years. Olympus’ surgical endoscope business generates annual sales of about SEK 8 billion and conducts significant operations in the US and Europe. Heinz Jacqui possesses extensive experience in the intensive-care area, where he held such positions as Head of Dräger’s respiratory operations.
