RaySearch Laboratories: RaySearch Enters Distribution Agreement for the Spanish MarketSTOCKHOLM--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--RaySearch Laboratories AB (STO:RAYB) has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with the Spanish distributor Biologia y Tecnica de la Radiacion, S.L. (Bioterra) based in Madrid, Spain. The agreement means that Bioterra will be fully responsible for marketing, sales and service of RaySearch’s proprietary treatment planning system RayStation® on the Spanish market.

Yet the technology is well-proven as the core components have been in clinical use at more than 1800 clinics for up to a decade. RayStation® integrates all RaySearch’s advanced treatment planning solutions into a flexible treatment planning system. It combines unique features such as multi-criteria optimization tools with full support for 4D adaptive radiation therapy. It also includes functionality such as RaySearch’s market-leading algorithms for IMRT and VMAT optimization and highly accurate dose engines for both photon and proton therapy. The system is built on the latest software architecture and has a graphical user interface offering state-of-the-art usability.
