IYIA Technologies Announces New Treatment Option for Foot Ulcers and Other Wounds That Won’t Heal

Treatments now available through San Diego Physician

SAN MARCOS, Calif.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Seven years in development, the FDA cleared-to-market O²Misly™ Wound Treatment System is now available to the public. The system, developed by San Diego inventor Adrian Pelkus, uses Vaporous Hyperoxia Therapy, a newly patented process wherein oxygen is infused with a vapor which delivers an anti-microbial to the affected area. The anti-microbial mist stops infections, opens micro capillaries which encourages blood flow and the oxygen bath then encourages blood vessel growth.

Studies conducted by physicians have shown that the O²Misly is more than twice as effective as other wound treatment systems. In announcing the availability of treatments, Adrian Pelkus, founder of IYIA Technologies, comments “The results to date have been excellent, and that’s why we are offering it on a pay-for-results basis. If a patient’s wound is not healing, they don't pay.”

Patients are comfortable during treatment and need not be enclosed in a pressurized / hospital based hyperbaric chamber as with other systems. The private-pay therapy takes place one hour twice a week at the patient’s home under the direction of John Qian, MD of the Advanced Pain and Rehab Center on Ruffin Road in San Diego. Patients with chronic wound conditions may call 760.752.1036 for information about the treatments.
