Diamyd Medical Changes Name to Mertiva
STOCKHOLM--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--Mertiva AB (DIAM-B.ST)(Pink Sheets:DMYDY) at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Diamyd Medical AB on April 22, 2013, it was decided to change the Company’s name to Mertiva AB. The web address to Mertiva is www.mertiva.se.The change of name to Mertiva AB is part of the restructuring of the Diamyd Group which was decided at an Extraordinary General Meeting on April 22, 2013. The restructuring also entails distributing the subsidiary Diamyd Therapeutics AB with the diabetes operations to the shareholders and that the spun out company assumes the name Diamyd Medical AB and the web address www.diamyd.com.
Mertiva (former Diamyd Medical) shares are listed on Nasdaq OMX (segment Small Cap) in Stockholm (ticker:DIAM B). The ticker will be changed as soon as possible, to reflect the change of name.
