EMD Serono President and Head of US Operations James Hoyes Resigns
ROCKLAND, Mass.--(Healthcare Sales & Marketing Network)--EMD Serono, Inc., a subsidiary of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, announced today that James Hoyes has resigned from his position as President and Head of US Operations. Following nearly a decade of dedicated service to EMD Serono, Hoyes has decided to pursue other professional opportunities. His last day with the organization will be Sept 30, 2013.Hoyes joined EMD Serono in 2004 as Vice President of Marketing in neurology and since that time has held positions of increasing responsibility, including leading the neurology franchise. Prior to being named President and Head of US Operations in 2011, Hoyes served as Chief Commercial Officer for EMD Serono, where he was responsible for business operations in the company’s key therapeutic areas of neurodegenerative diseases, fertility and metabolic endocrinology, as well as managed care, business intelligence, health outcomes, specialty pharmacy and commercial operations.
